It's finished! Here's the raw photo's of the maternity sweater I just knit as an Alchemy for a gal on Etsy. She sent the yarn, pattern, and measurements; I modified the pattern to fit her and knit the yarn and crocheted the edging.

Still plugging away at the maternity sweater! In the meantime, I have joined a Theme Blog that has a Challenge of the Month. This month is fall items. You can see my post, among other fantastic posts here: http://etsythemeshop.blogspot.com/

Things have been bustling around here! I received the first scarf order of the season, a navy and white number! I'm also possibly getting a contract to make scarves as a fundraiser for the high school band. They will have the school initials in double jaquard on one end of a solid color scarf. I'm pretty excited about it!

My big project right now is a maternity sweater I was commissioned to make. The mom sent me the yarn, and I am nearing completion. Here is a pic of one sleeve. The body is a deep purple chenille like yarn with a metallic thread in it, and the edging is a violet, lavender, and silver ribbon yarn. It is really pretty.

It's back to school time! Here are some examples of my custom knit School Color Scarves. Each scarf is about 60 inches long and 5-6 inches wide. Each stripe of the School Color Scarf is about 3 inches long. I can custom knit and get your scarf to you in about 7 days from purchase. Discounts for bulk orders. Of course, you needn't order school or sports team colors...just something that you like or that will match your coat! One of my best sellers is grey and black. You may also choose to have tassels or a finished edge. You may purchase scarves here: www.thepaintedtiger.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=69608 , hat ( stocking cap ) and scarf combos are also available.

I LUV Etsy Swap! I recently participated in the Etsy Swap (http://www.etsy.com/forums_topic.php?thread_id=14000). The person I created for loved gardening, natural materials, and has 4 children, so I created this monogrammed knit throw pillow in natural cotton for her, and hand painted on the dyes.

I received a couple of skeins of hand spun yarn from Hobbledehoy similar to this: http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=305629, plus a couple of her button pins with flowers on them.

It was a fun experience, and I got to try out the filet-knit technique!

For the Fourth of July I made up this purse and headband. They are for sale at Etsy. Those of you watching this space for Ebay collectibles sales, I think I am going to take a break from that and start again in September. It is too much to juggle that and all the summer activities.

Custom Knitted Cuff! I just had an Alchemy via Etsy for a knitted cuff. This is what I came up with. It is made with natural cotton yarn. With a little encouragement, I could make more.......

In other news, I have been selected to have my yarn reviewed by Connie the Sock Nut. I'll post more when she actually gets to me, she has several other companies to do first.

Ah, DSL!!! After years of dialup, we finally broke down and got DSL. Let's just say that I listed the 20 auctions that I posted this week in about the same time it took to do 5 before. Certainly much more fun! Here's some of the chalkware I put up.
