The busiest part of scarf season for me is finally over, and in the meantime I had quite a few requests for rainbows on worsted weight.....so here are the newest ones:
Rainbow Blue Faced Leicester (There's two of these 1lb skeins, generally the same, but there's more blue in one.)
What happens when you ripen a rainbow? Mature Rainbow!!! Hand Dyed on Superwash Merino Worsted 4 ply Yarn
This one is a favorite for bright color lovers.... Tropical Rainbow.
For pastel lovers, we have Tutti Fruity. Again on Superwash Merino Worsted.
And then I had some fun with cool winter colors.....
Pale Blue Skies on SW Worsted and Tiger Cub Fingering
Winter's Day on Tiger Cub Fingering
Abigail on Corriedale Top Roving (I know it looks a bit grey, but it is really pale purple and pale blues)
Pale Blue Skies on Corriedale Combed Top
And some other stuff!!
Captivating on Corriedale Top
Dappled on Corriedale Top
The Yarn Formerly Known As.......
And a former yarn brought back to life through customer request.....
Sunset in a Blender on Tiger Cub Fingering

A great new co-op sock club for 2009!
I have a great group of friends who are also indie dyers. We've been having a great time together online, and decided to put our talents together. We call ourselves the Fiber Baristas, and 9 of us are presenting this first club. In Postcards from Home, each month you will receive a sock yarn that is dyed with the dyers home area in mind, plus some information (or postcard) of the area. It's a great way to sample many different dyers! We are now open for membership, pop on over to FiberBaristas.blogspot.com !
Also, don't forget that my own club, Transitions, is open! If you love to knit from sock blanks, and you love long transitions like Noro, you'll love this club!!!
Happy New Year to you all! It's been a fun and exciting year at ThePaintedTiger, and I'm eager to see what 2009 brings!
